Neurodiversity Affirming

We listen to the voices of the populations we serve. That means we don't support the use of compliance-based therapy techniques such as "hand-over-hand" or PECS.

Gestalt Language Processing

We have special training in GLP and natural language acquisition. We know how to adapt AAC systems to work best for GLP learners.

Sensory Processing

We take into consideration the clients' sensory system and their sensory needs in order to help them stay regulated during therapy. When evaluating an AAC system, we look at all sensory aspects including visual stimuli, auditory feedback/hearing, tactile feedback to make the best match.
